last.fm

Here's a service I'm sure most of you have already encountered by now, but that I found interesting in the perspective of "radio":

last.fm radio

You need to have an account to use the service but in short it's basically an assortment of radio stations which output is algorithmically chosen based on your own scrobbled songs or an individual artist (and how they have been tagged).

It's not simulcast. It's somehow curated but at the same time it's partly on-demand (you can skip over songs).

If you haven't already, check it out.
The best from all worlds?

At the very least, it's definitely a good tool for finding new music.

Oh, and on sort of a side-note: last.fm radio has stopped being free (since recently?)
